Yes. Kalshi, Polymarket US and Novig all operate in Florida, sports contracts included, and no Florida regulator or official has acted against them. The state's only legal sportsbook is Hard Rock Bet, run by the Seminole Tribe under a compact that grants it exclusivity, which makes Florida the state where a tribal challenge would carry the most weight, as it has in California. So far, silence. Status as of October 15, 2026.

The legal picture
Florida's sports betting runs through a 2021 compact between the state and the Seminole Tribe, upheld after years of litigation, that routes every online bet through tribal servers and gives the tribe exclusivity. Prediction markets sit outside that framework under federal commodities law, and neither the state's gaming commission nor the attorney general has challenged them.
The exposure is tribal. In California, three tribes sued prediction markets under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, arguing sports contracts infringe their exclusive gaming rights; that appeal is at the Ninth Circuit. The Seminole Tribe has a stronger exclusivity position than most and the resources to litigate; it has chosen not to so far. If that changes, Florida would move quickly from "open" to "contested".
